Application scope
High viscosity heat jacket bitumen pump applies to deliver the medium without causticity, not including solid particle and has solidifiability under the normal temperature. It especially used for the condition that the medium requiring to keep heat in outdoor installation at cold region. The temperature of medium could reach to 300°C. The viscosity is 5-1500CSt.

Characteristics of structure
The hollow sandwich and flange with inlet and outlet were set on the body of pump. It could be used in heating, cooling and keeping heat for liquid and pump when delivering the heat-conducting oil, steam and hot water.
Advantages:
The main wetted parts of the LCB asphalt pump are provided with hollow interlayers, and are provided with functions such as steam, hot/hot water, heat transfer oil, etc. for heating and heat preservation of the transport liquid and pump. When the transport viscosity is large, it should be adopted. Drives such as reducers, speed control motors or pulleys reduce the speed of the pump.
LCB asphalt pump is made of cast steel, which is 5 times longer than cast iron. Class II material Q235 is suitable for conveying non-corrosive properties below 350 °C. Heavy oil/asphalt without solid particles has solidification at room temperature. In the case of outdoor installation and process in high-cold areas, insulation is required.

Matters needing attention
1) After installation of asphalt insulation pump, the following items should be inspected for the first start-up:Whether the valve on the inlet and outlet pipeline is open or not;
(2) Whether the steering of the pump is correct (from the aspect of motor, the pump is clockwise) (80, 100 RCB is counter-clockwise rotation);
(3) Pay attention to whether the pressure gauge at the outlet of the pump is within the specified technical specifications;
(4) Pay attention to the abnormal noise or overheating in the movement of the pump.
2) If the seal of asphalt temperature pump leaks, please tighten the bolts or nuts on the sealing cap with even micro-pressure, but be sure not to adjust too tightly to avoid severe fever and reduce the use of the pump shaft and sealing ring.
3) Vibration, noise and intermittent sound will occur when the medium viscosity of asphalt heat preservation pump is high. The medium should be heated in time to reduce the viscosity, otherwise the bearing of the pump will be damaged.
4) After the shutdown of asphalt insulation pump, first cut off the power supply, and then close the valve on the discharge pipeline to avoid causing pump reversal.
